Hello, and welcome to another Real-Time Tuesday. Today we will be discussing how Evergage’s Zero Flicker feature is an easy way to improve your messages. Many people struggle with making effective messages on their site because they are always running into the same problem – their messages have a serious case of “flicker”. Flicker is when you create a message that is replacing content on your site, but before you see the message, you can see the content that is being replaced. Shouldn’t you see the messages immediately? Here is what flicker would look like on our site if we did not use Evergage’s Zero Flicker feature.
As you can see, we made a message replacing the image in the laptop. But before you see the message, you see the content that is being replaced. This is a sloppy way to implement messages on your site and it creates a poor experience for your visitors.
We have Zero Flicker implemented on our homepage banners. If you go to Evergage’s website, go into one of our solutions pages and then go back to the homepage, you will notice that the hero banner will be personalized based on what solution you are interested in, all without flicker.
Depending on the most time you spend in one of our solutions pages, that is the hero banner that you will see when you come back to the homepage. Watch what happens to the hero banner when you are interested in demand generation.
As you can see, there is no flicker when you go back to the homepage. Every other company is still trying to figure out how to create messages without flicker, so you must be thinking that I had to do a lot of work to get this message to appear without flicker. In reality, with Evergage, all you have to do is check a box in our product, and you will never experience flicker again. This is what I checked to make sure there wasn’t any flicker:
After I checked this box, all of my flicker problems were a thing of the past. This is one of the reasons that Evergage is made for the marketer. Just simply check a box, and you will not experience any more flicker. Want us to show you? Sign up for a quick 15-minute consultation to talk to one of our experts.
