Now let’s take a more in-depth look at what you just watched. With real-time personalization, you have two great options to choose from when it comes to increasing interaction. The first option is providing the customer with a pop-up message with content that the visitor is likely to be interested in.
In this example, the visitor may not know where to start, so they are offered the chance to jump right to the resources page.
Another option you have for increasing interaction is by being more subtle and using an inline message. This means that you are able to change your content in-line with the rest of the web in order to maintain the flow of visitor navigation.
Percussion Software has a great example of how they increase interaction with visitors based on an in-line message. This message shows relevant content on their blog, and this will increase the chances of the visitor becoming as engaged as possible.
The purpose of increasing interaction is to get the visitor to click on as much as possible, and this will bring you one step closer to closing deals.
