Hello, and welcome to another Real-Time Tuesday. This week we will be discussing a strategy for communicating with visitors on your site, and taking them through a guided tour to keep them engaged. Getting a visitor to your site is a great first step, but then you have to keep them as engaged as possible, and having them click on your blogs, resources and videos to learn more about you and then eventually they can become a lead. But how do you keep them engaged on your site?
With real-time marketing, you have the ability to communicate with all of your visitors, whether they are logged in users or anonymous visitors. When you have a visitor on your site and you want them to learn more, you are able to communicate with them in real-time and ask them if they would like to participate in a tour to learn more about you and your product.
The image above is an example of how you can first communicate with visitors in order to get them to participate in your tour. If the visitor is on your site and they are not sure what they want to view first, and they see this message, they are likely to join the tour. By joining the guided tour, the visitor is clearly interested in your product.
During the tour, you can show them a video that is a general overview of your product. You can then bring them to your blog page and your resources. Since the visitor is clearly interested by staying for the whole tour, at the end you have the ability to ask the visitor if they would be interested in viewing a demo of your product.
We hope you enjoyed this weeks Real-Time Tuesday, see you next week!
